Organizing Internship

Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina
(especially in Raleigh and Durham)

 

Come join the fight to unionize Amazon workers in the South! You’ll be working for our grassroots, independent, worker-led movement – Carolina Amazonians United for Solidarity Empowerment. You can learn more about us and our current work through our Instagram and website. We’re organizing in the Triangle area of North Carolina, especially in Raleigh and Durham. You’d be based in this area.

This apprenticeship will help you develop organizing skills through group and one-on-one mentorship, trainings, and direct outreach. Strong emphasis will be placed on fieldwork. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn about and support other aspects of the union including communications, rally organizing, leafleting, data systems and more.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to listen and learn and the fighting spirit to take on one of the world’s largest corporations. Language skills in Spanish, Arabic, French, Haitian Creole, Hindi, or Nepali.

This is a paid Internship. The hourly wage is between $19 – $23 hr. The application date is open and we are accepting applications right now.

Candidates must live in or be willing to move to the Triangle area of North Carolina.
