Based in the South Denver, CO area

Compensation: $62K plus benefits, could be more depending on experience and areas of expertise.
AFT Colorado represents thousands of teachers, paraprofessionals, food service, and security professionals in Colorado public schools.
We are seeking an Office Administrator who will help us work toward our mission of championing fairness, democracy, economic opportunity and high quality public education for our students and their families.
This job requires you to work independently and would include the following responsibilities:
- Payroll and Human Resources
- Tax requirements
- Worker’s Compensation
- Insurance
- Pension/IRA
- Grant Funding
- Bookkeeping
- AFT CO Board Administrative Tasks
- Organizing meetings
- Compiling reports for meetings
- Using Robert’s Rules of Order and taking minutes
- Interfacing with AFT CO locals and helping with administrative tasks
- Managing the finances of our political action committee
- Helping coordinate AFT CO conventions
- General office administration
This role will be based in South Denver and is set up as a hybrid position.
